Mile Marker: State Radio

The State Radio crew rolled into Denver after more than 60 hours on the road. They had driven in from Boston (straight) and were more than happy to jump off the bus and stretch their legs. While Bryan, our engineer, set up the mics and mixes inside Uneven Studio, the guys and their roadies brought out the hula hoops, bikes and pets for some relaxation in the Colorado sun. This Thursday afternoon in early March was one of Denver’s first glimpses of spring, and lead singer Chad Urmston was more than comfortable in but a sleeveless undershirt. Urmston will return to the front range in a few weeks when his former band, Dispatch, headlines three shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Enjoy these four rock-reggae tunes, recorded live for your pleasure.
