Talk Talk: Details on the Reverb FBC, Denver Noise Fest, a free download from Air Dubai and moreBy Julio Enriquez | April 21st, 2011 | 1 Comment »
You’re invited to drink free beer with us at one of Rolling Stone’s favorite record stores
We like to celebrate the finer things in life ’round here at Reverb: Music, free beer and friends. That’s why we’re bringing all of those three things together tonight. In that order. The Chain Gang of 1974 will be on hand to give us a DJ set and it all goes down at one of the country’s best music stores according to Rolling Stone, Twist & Shout. Congrats, T&S! Too bad there’s no good record stores in Denver.

Air Dubai announces free download
Air Dubai has come out of hibernation and is back with a vengeance. On the heels of the news that they’ll be headlining the Bluebird Theater May 20, they’ve also announced their new single

PANAL SA DE C.V. release video for “You Knew I Was a Snake”
Not too long ago, the guys from PANAL SA DE C.V. were gassed up (literally/metaphorically speaking) to make their way to Austin for SXSW. As we reported here at Reverb, the trip hit a speed bump and the maiden voyage came to a screeching halt. Nothing like a little anger to fuel work endeavors ,and their product is available below in the form of the new video of “You Knew I Was a Snake,” shot at the Hi-Dive. You can catch them this Saturday, April 23, at 3 Kings Tavern. I have now decided that if I were to ever start playing drums that I could only be behind a kit decorated with neon blue Christmas lights. That is all.
Denver Noise Fest 2011 is here
I hope you guys have an extra set of earplugs, or two, because Denver Noise Fest 2011 will be invading your ears and the Old Curtis Street Bar this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This weekend’s music festival will attract noise acts from all across the US to celebrate, what other than, NOISE!
Gauntlet Hair needs some skrill to record their first full-length
Gauntlet Hair has officially run out of money to record their first full-length and need the help of their adoring fans around the globe. Either that or they will starve to death. They make a pretty convincing case for their need and probably need to wrap things up before they hit the road with the Dodos. You can help the cause by contributing over here.

OFF! loves Wax Trax
This is an exceptional week for Denver record stores. L.A. rockers, OFF!, have proclaimed their love for Wax Trax in the Coachella Guide Book 2011. Now, if we can just work on getting them to play Denver, we’ll be in good shape.
