Mile Marker: Apex Manor
By Reverb Staff | April 8th, 2011 | 1 Comment »We were excited to bring the SoCal rock of Apex Manor into Uneven Studio on a snowy weekday afternoon this past February. The band had a few hours to kill before their show at the Hi-Dive that night, and this three-song session was a breeze. Apex Manor’s “The Year Of Magical Drinking” has been spinning around our office for the past few months — it’s a fresh take on the straight-up, intelligent (yet accessible) type of indie-rock perfected by their Merge Records labelmates, Spoon. Enjoy the three live songs below, download them if you wish, and let this week’s sunny Mile Marker help you crawl out of winter into spring.
