News: Widespread Panic announces three summer dates at Red Rocks

Widespread Panic has announced a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison for three nights in June. The band will headline Friday, June 24, through Sunday, June 26.

The tour — Widespread’s 25th Anniversary Tour — has 23 dates throughout the west, and will include three nights at Grand Targhee Ski Resort in Alta, Wyo., two shows at Austin City Limits in Austin, Tx., and a date in Taos, NM.

Widespread Panic’s most recent Colorado run saw two near sold-out nights at the Pepsi Center over New Year’s Eve (Click here for live reviews and photo galleries of Dec. 30 and Dec. 31.) Colorado is one of the most popular stops for the band, and they hold the record for most shows at Red Rocks with 36 — 35 of which were sold out shows as a headliner.

Tickets, $43 plus service fees, will go on sale Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
