The memorial service for Fluid guitarist Rick Kulwicki, who died on Feb. 15, is set for Tuesday morning, according to his younger sister Linda Kulwicki Crawford.

“We’ve always thought he was the most fabulous person we ever knew, and we’re overwhelmed by the support of all those who truly embraced his singular gifts of spirit,” Linda wrote in an email to Reverb.

Kulwicki, who played in Denver act the Buckingham Squares, died from arterial sclerosis, his sister said. The condition is prevalent in the Kulwicki family, she said.

Kulwicki’s services will be at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 S. Quebec, at 10 a.m. Tuesday. A viewing will be take place one hour prior, and all are welcome at a gathering following the ceremony.
