Photo essay: Faux Punk @ the Fox TheatreBy Nathan Rist | February 7th, 2011 | 1 Comment »
Faux Punk almost satisfied my craving for a true Daft Punk show. I say “almost” because ultimately, a show that teases you so much with what could be, and makes you crave for what is real. Faux Punk took the Fox Theatre stage shortly after 11 p.m. and quickly got into their own mixes of popular favorites including: “Technologic,” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and “One More Time.” All of these songs were on Daft Punk’s album “Discovery,” which were then featured in “Alive 2007,” from which Faux Punk seems to derive most of their work. Leading up to Faux Punk were performances by 12BC, who entertained the early crowd, and the Denver-based duo Human Agency.
