Tonight: South Broadway rules the sceneBy John Hendrickson | February 4th, 2011 | 5 comments
Tonight in Denver feels a little like the beautiful, drunken, jam-packed summer concert season we are all pining for. Yes, there’s still a lot of that nasty, gray snow-slush all over the place, but it’s a good night to be a music junkie. George Clinton is at the FIllmore. Moe. is at the Ogden. FaceMan’s First Waltz is invading the Bluebird.
If we had to make our pick, though, it would be South Broadway.
The two normally competing rock clubs are teaming up in an effort to pack Broadway as if it were, you know, late July. Pay the cover at one venue and you’ll get $2 bucks off the door across the street. Now THAT’s economic progress.
