Rose Hill Drive’s set on Saturday night stayed close to the band’s most recent album. This show marked one of the band’s first few nights playing with new bassist Jimmy Stofer, who seemed to fit in quite well. In no time mosh pits erupted and several people started crowd-surfing. The band intoduced a great set of new songs and the end of their hiatus was well worth the wait.

That wasn’t the first time RHD played with their new bassist. More like the 3rd or 4th time.

True. Also, RHD only played a few songs from their last album “Moon is the New Earth.” The rest was new material; with a more modern feel. It’s the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve heard the new material and at this point, I can’t get it out of my head. Phenomenal – even my friend from L.A. said so, and this was her first RHD show.
