News: Conan O'Brien to play Boulder and Denver in MayBy Ricardo Baca | March 11th, 2010 | 6 comments
Coco will return to the stage — just a different stage, night after night.
“Late Night” hero Conan O’Brien announced this morning that he’ll be performing at Bonnaroo, and when we checked in on the rest of his world, we found teamcoco.com, which tells us that the comic has a 30-date tour in the works — including a May 9 date at Mackey Auditorium in Boulder.
Tickets are already on sale for the Boulder date, and even though the May 10 date at Denver’s Ellie Caulkins Opera House isn’t yet on the site, it is also on sale at Ticketmaster right now.
Update: Save for a few VIP tickets, both Colorado shows are now sold out, according to promoter AEG Live Rocky Mountains.
O’Brien is calling the tour The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour, saying it’s “A night of music, comedy, hugging and the occassional awkward silence.”
Sounds great to us.
In the meantime, follow O’Brien on Twitter.
