News: The Fray, Lenny Kravitz and Interpol to open for U2 this summer

The year’s biggest North American tour now has opening acts. U2 announced the openers for its 360 Tour, which plays Denver’s Invesco Field at Mile High on June 12, on its website this weekend.

Colorado’s biggest-selling act in history, the Fray, will open three dates for U2 in Oakland, Seattle and Edmonton. But another band will open the Denver date.

Kravitz will open the Denver show — in addition to the Salt Lake City and Anaheim shows. New York post-punk act Interpol will play its first shows in a long time opening for U2 in Minneapolis, E. Lansing, Toronto, Chicago, Miami and Philadelphia.

Could care less about U2 (wayyyy past their prime), The Fray or Lenny Kravitz. Would have loved to seen Interpol in Denver again, though.

Man! What a misleading headline! I thought I'd see all three w/ U2 @ Mile High in June. Guess not.
