When we interviewed Matt Morris in advance of him releasing “When Everything Breaks Open,” his debut solo record, his sense of order was unusually backwards. Morris didn’t have a local show to celebrate his record’s release, but he did have a date on David Letterman’s “The Late Show.”
Locals who have seen Morris on “The Late Show,” “The Ellen Show” and a couple other national programs — including Friday’s Hope For Haiti Now telethon, which had him covering Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” with his friend and producer Justin Timberlake, as seen above — now have a chance to see Morris perform in his hometown of Denver.
Morris will play a show Feb. 25 at the Bluebird Theater, AEG Live announced today. Tickets, $10-$12, go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
