Local Natives at the Ogden Theatre, 4-26-14 (review)

With crowd surfing and soaring harmonies, Local Natives made a spirited return to Denver on Saturday. Playing its biggest headlining Colorado date, the band used the space of the Ogden Theatre to its fullest, drenching the venue in fog and a full, dreamy atmosphere.

Local Natives are about to start their never-ending tour schedule, which includes a slew of festivals and a jaunt overseas to Europe and beyond. The good news is that the band has been taken under the wing of the National, whose multi-instrumentalist Aaron Dessner produced their sophomore album.
