Indie folk heroes Mumford & Sons announced their Summer Stampede 2013 on Monday, and the subtitle of the tour is telling, especially for Coloradans: “Calgary > Telluride.”

The next cancellation for Michelle Shocked may be Colorado’s iconic Telluride Bluegrass Festival. TBF organizers, Planet Bluegrass, posted a note on Facebook saying they were “considering the status” of Shocked at the festival.

As Greensky Bluegrass took the stage at the Fox Theatre on Saturday night, front man and mandolin player Paul Hoffman eased up to the mic, long hair whipping in the wind from a fan. “Tonight’s show is brought to you by the letter ‘T,’ ” he said with a wink.

One of the most likable records of 2012 was easily “Love This Giant,” the lovely, if subtle, debut collaboration from David Byrne and St. Vincent. The duo just announced an extensive U.S.-Canada tour this summer that includes a couple big, select dates in Colorado.
