Boulder's eTown has pulled the plug on its May 3 concert with show veteran Michelle Shocked after her reported anti-gay rant at a concert. (Promotional photo).

Her show had been cancelled, but that didn’t stop alternative folk and rock singer Michelle Shocked from showing up at a Santa Cruz nightclub where she staged a sit-in with tape across her mouth that read “Silenced By Fear.”

Boulder's eTown has pulled the plug on its May 3 concert with show veteran Michelle Shocked after her reported anti-gay rant at a concert. (Promotional photo).

The next cancellation for Michelle Shocked may be Colorado’s iconic Telluride Bluegrass Festival. TBF organizers, Planet Bluegrass, posted a note on Facebook saying they were “considering the status” of Shocked at the festival.
