Tuesday night’s sold out audience at the Fillmore was enthusiastic — easy to please even. There to see In This Moment, All That Remains, Hellyeah and Lola Black, just about anything could send the crowd into frenzy. Chad Gray of Hellyeah could shout out what he had for breakfast and the place would go nuts.

Early Thursday morning 106.7 KBPI’s Willie B. announced that Lola Black has joined the ranks of just six other local bands to hold the station’s “Best Band in Denver” title. The female-fronted rock band also made station history with Lola Black being the first woman to even advance past the semi-final rounds — let alone win the title.
