Colorado music festivals cover the spectrum in 2013. They range from the traditional (Telluride Bluegrass) to the neighborhoody (our own Underground Music Showcase); from the national touring kind (Warped Tour) to the mountain rave-y kind (Sonic Bloom); from the down-home country kind (Greeley Stampede) to the hoity industry kind (FMQB Triple A Conference).

A sold out crowd at the Boulder Theater witnessed an intimate showcase of a combined 90 years of bluegrass experience with Sam Bush and Del McCoury.

Though Sierra Hull’s essay-writing days are behind her—she just graduated from the renowned Berklee College of Music last May—her songwriting ones aren’t: according to her Facebook page, Hull is back in the studio to record a follow-up to 2011′s “Daybreak.”
