Blues singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt is no stranger to the road. And she’s no stranger to Red Rocks, having played there many, many times in her career.

And now she’s coming back again this summer.

Raitt will headline the Morrison amphitheater on Aug. 26. Tickets, $39-75-$79.75, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 on Ticketmaster.

Always liked her music until I went to one of her shows and had to listed to about an hour of her ranting and raving about how republicans were destroying this country.  I paid to hear some music, not some nutting musician’s political views.  10 minutes more and I think the crowd would have booed her off the stage.

It’s “Can Hardly Wait,” not “Can’t Hardly Wait.”  The latter is a double negative.  Teddee Grace
