Mile Marker: Blind Pilot

Blind Pilot made a stop in Denver at Uneven Studio when they were in the region for one of the summer’s best shows, a double bill with Josh Ritter at Chautauqua Auditorium in late July. The Portland band’s September release, “We Are The Tide,” has quickly become one of our favorite records of the year, and we were thrilled to see their rickety school bus/tour bus roll up outside the studio that afternoon. The group laid down unique versions of “Keep You Right” and “Just One” from the new record, along with a charging, emotional take of “Go On Say It” — perhaps a top 5 Mile Marker recording, just by itself. Stream and download the session below, and let us know what you think.
