The Hi-Dive was won over by the Dum Dum Girls on Monday | Reverb — Reverb Music — The Denver Post

Photo essay: Dum Dum Girls @ the Hi-Dive

Noise pop, lo-fi, sub-pop — whatever you like to call the Dum Dum Girls, you just can’t help but be taken over by their addictively raw sound.

Despite their near motionless stage presence and devil-may-care attitude, the all-female band from L.A. delivered a vibrant performance at the Hi-Dive last night. The muted emotion and energy belied the crowd-pleasing, catchy tunes and melodic vocals that were delivered from the stage.

Dirty Beaches got the night started, followed by the Minks, with an interesting combination of emotionless delivery and catchy tunes.
