Bela Karoli @ Hi-Dive – hot, hot, hot, muddy sound, too many chatterers. They need a venue that lets them be heard.

KaiserCartel – awesome. Looking forward to seeing them back here in September.

Orangu-Tones – 50′s frat boy rock – as GeeRee described it – still gets the house rocking. Wooly Booly!!!

Omens – My first rock ‘n roll show was the Kingsmen in Baltimore in the 50′s. Seems like I’ve spent the best days of my life in dives, roadhouses and assorted rock ‘n’roll bars around the world, and this band’s reaction was bush. Keep rocking, let the music speak. Drop the attitude, you ain’t that big.

After party – was the right side of the bar invisible? Long wait for service. The Skylark normally does better.

Great start. The weekend should be even better.

I completely agree with the comment about Bela Karoli. Hi-Dive didn’t do them justice.

Actually, Hi-Dive was the worst venue of all for entire UMS – bigger names would have been better off at outdoor stage where more people could watch. Hi-Dive was disgusting all weekend.
