I actually do know about Reverand Beatman, and his cult status - especially in Europe - and I never called his status out. All I said was that his performance didn't add much more than legitimacy to the "international" in the title, as it wasn't more than ". . . typical one-man-band fare." That's not to say it wasn't perfectly adequate, even good - just that it was not as creative as many that appeared onstage at the festival that night. Beatman definitely has a unique mind, and world view. I just wish it had been more evident in his performance - less schtick, more substance would have been nice. Thanks for the comment!
