I've been a fan since before BHTM were the "flavor of the month" on the radio and have seen them probably ten times. This Red Rocks show was just lame. Candance, do you really know anything about the band and what they stand for? Did you find the small amount of information you have on Wikipedia? If all you can come up with is someone singing out "Bittersweet" and contrive that into them being predictable, then you are sorely mistaken and uninformed. Honestly, do you know how many extremely successful and headlining national acts have started as BHTM warm up bands? Ok I will stop asking questions, obviously you don't care to know the answers. This band is the epitome of talent and majical musicianship encompassed in a group that refuses to "sell-out". BHTM is and always has been independent and non conforming. They are much much more than "Bittersweet". Having a narrow minded perspective like this makes me feel sad for someone that spent the money to witness RR'09 BHTM which in my opinion was spectacular and UNpredictable. Look up what "All the Love you Need" actually means. It's not just a snappy tune that you can't help but sing along to. The BHTM faithful know, I feel sad you don't. Many on the band's website reviewed this show as "fresh" or "the best ever". This was my sixth BHTM show this year and I too would call it fresh. Money talks and these guys are still drawing a crowd after all these years. I can't think of a better review than that. What an idiot.
