I'll admit John Taylor couldn't ever do any wrong in my eyes, but LeBo always could and I found a new respect for him that night- he's a gifted front man if nothing else. Oh and I'll admitt I missed it all live the first time round (I wasn't born till 5 years after the orginal line- up split!) but I'll definatey be going back.... If you had been to their concerts in the past , you would have known that the somewhat cheesy intros were kind of to be expected in a fun sort of way. Of course almost everyone there knows who the band members are after they've been entertaining for 30 years. The new album Red Carpet Massacre is a fun mix of dance grooves and a blend of intertwining melodics, synth, bass and funk that grow on you the more you listen to them. Hearing these songs performed live was a lot of fun as the crowd during the concert proved by reaction. Duran Duran has a unique sound that has branched out since it's original MTV hit Planet Earth. True fans of the band appreciate the work Duran Duran has done to continue to be interesting and different. To sporatically write disrepectful and unnecessary statements that for example, pick on their choice of attire is silly and shallow. The musicianship I saw showed that they have grown and taken the time to getter better with time. Did the majority of the audience attending the concert have a great time?
