Let's give all of the band members of Ian Cooke's band their just do! It is the
mixture and the great culmination of sounds; drums, bass, lead, keyboard that
make this band unique and just a cut above. Ian is fantastic on cello, but
it is the sounds of the entire band that get the people really into the music!

I heard Ian play in Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Australia. His music gives heartache a voice, while at the same time celebrating the vibrant richness of life authentically lived, and the connections between us. His songs are like a good wine, that you sip and savour, and each time find new hints of influences that come together in a distillation that is pure Ian Cooke. Don't miss an opportunity to hear this unique and talented individual.

i also love it when ian's voice becomes an instrument, dueling with his cello.
he's such a fascinating performer and artist.
i had my brother's birthday that night. otherwise i woulda been at the bluebird.
